America West Announces New Service to Kalispell

America West announced today that it is bringing its low fares and
outstanding service to Kalispell, Mont., on June 1, 2004, with the
initiation of nonstop service between Phoenix and Kalispell. America West
Express, operated by Mesa Airlines, will provide one daily roundtrip
flight utilizing the popular 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet. Customers will
be able to book flights for this new service beginning Sunday, March 21,
2004. “We’re excited to be adding Kalispell to America West’s coast-to-coast
route system and providing Kalispell travelers with a link to major
business and leisure destinations across North America,” said C.A.
Howlett, senior vice president, public affairs. “We know that our new
Kalispell customers will appreciate America West’s low fares, wide range
of services and exceptional operating performance.”

Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg said, “Quietly, as a member of the
House Aviation Subcommittee, I’ve been working for a number of months with
America West, airport officials and community leaders toward attracting
this new service. Travelers to and from Kalispell will now have yet
another choice in air service in and out of Glacier Park International,
which is good news, both for the local economy and visitors to
northwestern Montana.”

Customers in Kalispell can take advantage of convenient connections in
Phoenix to 53 destinations across the U.S., Mexico and Costa Rica. Both
leisure and business travelers will benefit from America West’s flexible
low-fare structure, which eliminates the Saturday night stay requirement
and drastically reduces fares for one-way travel.

Kalispell is the third new destination announced by America West this
year. Daily nonstop service between Phoenix and Anchorage, Alaska, also
initiates June 1. Daily one-stop service between Phoenix and Page, Ariz.,
begins May 16.

America West Express nonstop service also is available between Billings
and America West’s Phoenix and Las Vegas hubs. America West also offers
access to Kalispell and 10 other Montana destinations through a
code-sharing agreement with Big Sky Airlines.
