A new Comfort Inn hotel recently opened here at 42-24 Crescent Street. The eight-story new construction hotel is the first Comfort brand hotel to open in the area.
Owned and operated by Metro Nine Hotel, LLC of New York City, the Comfort Inn hotel features 80-units, a 900 square-foot meeting space, an exercise facility, a breakfast room, and a business center.
Situated next to the Citibank building, the tallest office complex on Long Island, the Comfort Inn hotel’s location is convenient for travelers visiting Queens and Manhattan.

“The increase in commercial and residential development in Long Island City has made the city a real hot spot and we saw that there was an immediate need for a good quality mid-market hotel in the area,” said Amit Gandhi, the hotel’s owner.

“The Comfort Inn hotel is a great value with affordable room rates and immediate access to Midtown Manhattan. Guests are realizing that Long Island City is another alternative for people to visit and stay and still enjoy the atmosphere of New York City.”

Guestrooms at the Comfort Inn hotel feature king-, queen-, or double-size beds. All rooms include a 27-inch remote-controlled cable television with HBO and Showtime, large work desk, high-speed Internet access, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Some rooms also feature a whirlpool tub. Handicapped and non-smoking rooms are available.

The Comfort Inn hotel offers guests a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, complimentary USA TODAY newspaper, and shuttle service to La Guardia International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Discounts are available when booked in advance on a space-available basis for seniors, American Automobile Association members, business travelers, government and military personnel, and groups. Children, ages 18 and under, stay for free when accompanied by an adult.

The hotel participates in Choice’s Choice Privileges® rewards program where guests can earn points toward free stays, airline miles or gifts when staying at U.S. Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion and MainStay Suites hotels.

Guests can receive airline miles from participating airlines when staying at any Choice brand hotel.
