Patrick Fitzgibbon has been appointed Managing Director of Hilton’s health club division LivingWell, following current MD Paul Harvey’s promotion to the role of Vice President of Hilton’s operations in Japan and Micronesia.

Patrick previously worked for LivingWell where he was responsible for the role out of the UK Premier portfolio and launching the brand to the international market place. He is moving from his current role of vice president of development for Hilton in the Americas, where he led the development and launch of “Coral by Hilton” the first all-inclusive product launched by any major hotel brand.

“In my two and a half years away from LivingWell, I have observed enormous growth and development in the health and leisure sector. We are facing competitive and challenging times, however Paul has established LivingWell as an award winning company that not only offers visionary products, but is backed by a solid and talented management team and is underpinned by a core set of company values. I am very excited to be rejoining the division and I look forward to driving the business to be even more successful in the future.” said Patrick.

Paul Harvey, who leaves LivingWell after two and a half years to take up his new post in Japan, said, “LivingWell is a unique business in the sense that I believe every team member is truly passionate about our jointly shared purpose which is ‘helping our members enjoy a healthier lifestyle’. Although it was a hard decision to move from such an energetic and successful business, my new challenge in Japan will greatly benefit from my time with LivingWell and I am looking forward to living and working in such a fascinating country. “
