Worldspan Announces Expanded Fare Pact with United

Worldspan
today announced an agreement to expand Worldspan’s access to
United Airlines fare data, including all publicly available fares and
those fares available via United’s reservations offices, its Web site at
www.united.com
, and third-party Web sites. The three-year
agreement provides all fare content, including Web fares, for all United
flights to Worldspan’s North American and Caribbean traditional travel
agencies.

“Worldspan continues to make great strides in providing the best fare
information to our travel agency partners while also offering creative
solutions to improve distribution and reduce costs for our airline
customers,” said Mike Parks, senior vice president and general manager -
Worldwide Travel Distribution for Worldspan. “This agreement with United
underscores Worldspan’s ongoing commitment to bring convenient, complete
product content to Worldspan travel agencies and their clients. At the
same time, we are further demonstrating the value of Worldspan and our
agency customers to our airline suppliers through innovative, value
enhancing solutions.”

“United is pleased to be able to partner with Worldspan by offering our
full range of fare content, including Web fares, to Worldspan’s travel
agency customers while reducing our overall distribution costs,” commented
Greg Taylor, senior vice president - Planning for United Airlines. United
also signed a Rapid Reprice agreement with Worldspan earlier this year and
implementation is expected by end of the year.
