SRS-WORLDHOTELS goes "seamless next generation”

The First Non-Chain Hotel Company to Offer this Highest Possible Level of Connectivity, SRS-WORLDHOTELS is Already “Live” With Amadeus and Worldspan
In a move that ensures its stance at the cutting edge of reservations technology, SRS-WORLDHOTELS now offers Seamless Next Generation connectivity with three of the four major Global Distribution Systems. Galileo’s Seamless Next Generation product, Inside Shopper, is the latest to go “live” with the organization.

SRS-WORLDHOTELS is the first hotel consortium to provide its members with this highest possible level of connectivity. The Frankfurt-based organization has been connected to both Amadeus’s Dynamic Access and Worldspan’s Integrated Source since the products were introduced this spring, and will follow with Sabre’s DC Shop upon its launch later this year.

Seamless Next Generation greatly speeds and simplifies the reservations process, both for consumers and the travel trade. It allows all requests for information, availability and rates to pass through the GDS’s databases and go directly to the SRS-WORLDHOTELS’ central reservations system, TRUST Voyager. To pave the way for this next level of connectivity, SRS-WORLDHOTELS undertook a major upgrade of its reservation software, unveiling TRUST Voyager 2.1 this spring.

Users of Galileo’s Inside Shopper have direct access to TRUST Voyager at all stages of the booking process, giving them live availability, rates and inventory information. This eliminates any possibility of rate discrepancies between TRUST and Galileo. Member hotels also benefit, as they have the opportunity to market their entire rate range, as well as alternative properties, only in case of sold out.
