Stonewater, the spa company focused on creating a new national spa brand through the acquisition of some of Americaå‘s best spas, has purchased Philipeå‘s Day Spa & Cosmetique in Indianapolis, Ind. This latest acquisition brings Stonewaterå‘s collection of day spas to 18 locations, making Stonewater one of the largest spa companies in the U.S.

Opened in 1997, Philipe’s Day Spa and Cosmetique is a 4,800 sq-ft spa, of which 1,000 sq-ft is a dedicated spa boutique, located in the heart of Indianapolis’ high-end shopping area. Philipe’s has been featured in DaySpa Magazine and has been voted the Number One Local Spa by Indianapolis Woman magazine.

“We were looking to expand in the Midwestern market,” says Francis X. Acunzo, Stonewater’s founder and chief executive officer. “As a nationally recognised and leading spa in Indianapolis, Philipe’s met our criteria when researching day spas to acquire in this strategic region of the U.S. And with its impressive spa boutique and extensive skin and body products catalogue, Philipe’s brings definitive retail strength to the Stonewater collection.”

In creating a national brand, Stonewater will integrate a variety of signature Stonewater treatments to existing services, in addition to adding other defining elements in each of the spas in its portfolio. Philipe’s will retain its original name with an added tag of ‘A Stonewater Spa.’
