British Spa Supplier, Dalesauna, Wins Major Contracts

The UKå‘s largest supplier of saunas and spa equipment, Dalesauna, has been chosen to supply the steam generation equipment for the much anticipated Thermae Bath Spa, set to open February 2003 for the first time since 1978.

The announcement follows a close three-year association with internationally acclaimed architect, Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners, and consulting engineer, Arup and Partners.


The Thermae Bath Spa development, made possible through a 7.78 million pound grant from the Millennium Commission, will provide 80 percent leisure-based and 20 percent medical spa facilities and therapies. It includes indoor and outdoor thermal spa bathing, steam rooms, massage and treatment rooms, a restaurant, meeting rooms and visitor centre. The project will be operated by Thermae Development Company (TDC), which created Thermae 2000 in Holland.


Dalesauna

has also recently provided high-end equipment for exclusive locations; Stoke Park Club, Greenwoods Estates Spa and The Next Generation Clubs Celsius Spas.

The latest spa installation at the newly opened Celsius Spa in Bristol, UK, includes a tiled steam room, a Hemlock Sauna with behind the bench heating and fibre optic lighting, a Hemlock Saunarium, with specialist Multi-Colour light therapy, a tiled spa pool and plunge pool, state-of-the-art sunbed area and a specialised feature shower.
