Brazilian Airline Varig has signed a contract with Mobile Software and Technology that will allow bookings to be made via PDAs.
The service is expected to be available from April.
Not only will a traveller be able to make reservations, but he or she will also be able to access their ‘Smiles’ frequent flyer account details.
No charge will be levied for this service.
