Leading car hire firm Avis Rent a Car has announced it has been recognised for its market leading service after scooping three accolades at the recent World Travel Awards, hosted in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt.

The brand was named Africa’s Leading Business Car Rental Company, Indian Ocean’s Leading Car Rental Company and Egypt’s Leading Car Rental Company.

Avis’ success at the World Travel Awards celebrates the company’s commitment to delivering convenient and flexible mobility solutions, which meet the varied needs of its broad customer base. 

For example, Avis operates across more countries and with more locations in Africa than any of its competitors.

In addition, Avis has also responded to the needs of business travellers by making a commitment to sustainability through its Carbon Neutral status in South Africa.
