Hilton Worldwide has announced the appointment of Samir Kant Avasthi as director of sales - ISO for India. 

Avasthi will lead the company’s effort to gain fair share of India as a source market for the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of hotels and resorts overseas. 

His primary responsibility will be to establish a loyal and committed customer base within India and position Hilton Worldwide as a long term business partner.

Samir has over 11 years of experience in sales, and before joining Hilton Worldwide he was with The Explorers, a destination management company based in New Delhi. 

In his new assignment, Samir will be responsible to Pariva Rustagi, the regional director of sales for Hilton Worldwide in India. 

He will be based at the company’s India Regional Office in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR. 

“We are pleased to welcome Samir to Hilton Worldwide, as he takes charge of a market that is increasing becoming important for our portfolio of hotels overseas. 

“With his extensive experience and deep understanding of the market, Samir will be a key player in executing our sales roadmap,” said Rustagi.
