Ash Cloud: Flybe Scottish service update

Flybe, the UK’s number one domestic airline, confirmed that it operated a full schedule of services from Edinburgh and Glasgow airports this morning (up to 10.00) carrying 931 passengers on 16 flights to destinations including Birmingham, Southampton and Manchester.

Ten services to and from Aberdeen and Inverness were cancelled between 0700 and 0930 because of volcanic ash restrictions, though it is expected that these airports will re-open early this afternoon.
