America’s Vacation Center, one of the leading travel companies in North America and beyond, today announced that it recently held its 2009 National Conference, bringing together hundreds of its Independent Affiliates, dozens of travel industry leaders, and America’s Vacation Center Executive Management. The successful conference program included an array of activities such as exclusive training, networking, groundbreaking reveals, and more.

The five-day event was held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, on both land and sea from November 20 to 24, including an inaugural sailing on Royal Caribbean International’s brand new Oasis of the Seas. Entitled “Go for the Gold!,” the conference program was jam-packed with unique opportunities for America’s Vacation Center’s (http://www.joinavc.com/) network of Independent Affiliates, including keynote speeches and training, ship inspections, private entertainment, a Chairman’s Dinner and Awards Ceremony, a preferred supplier networking event and tradeshow, and more.

Celebrating the company’s continued success in 2009 and accomplishments of its network, America’s Vacation Center (http://www.joinavc.com/) announced its winning Independent Affiliates for the “Best of the Best,” “Rising Stars,” “Top 10” for each of its preferred suppliers, and more award categories during the privately held Chairman’s Dinner and Award Ceremony at the Bahia Mar Beach Resort and Yachting Center. The winning Independent Affiliates received an award for their achievement, recognition from Co-Presidents Brad and Van Anderson, and numerous rewards and cash prizes. The winning Independent Affiliates were chosen based on their exemplary sales performance, outstanding customer service, and overall Integrity and Professionalism in 2009.
