AirAsia plane fuselage discovered

The main body of the crashed AirAsia plane has been found in the Java Sea, according to reports.

AirAsia lost contact with the flight on 28 December as it was flying from Surabaya in Indonesia to Singapore with 162 people on board.

Dozens of bodies were discovered, but many were still missing, thought to be in the plane.

The plane’s two flight recorders and a tail section have already been found and retrieved.

Information in the “black box”, is also being analysied.

According to Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen, who posted robot generated photos of the plane on his Facebook page, said the text on the side of the wreckage confirmed the plane was flight QZ8501.
