Good air services are vital to attracting more jobs and investment for this region; it will immediately deliver benefits for our company. Our Brisbane-based staff, who regularly visit our operations at Narrabri, currently fly via Sydney so a direct link is very welcome. We wish Aeropelican every success with the new routes.”
Mr Casey said the Newcastle link would also be important as Eastern Star Gas progresses its planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility at Newcastle.
Fabrice Binet, Business Development Manager for Aeropelican said: “The introduction of our new air services between Narrabri and Brisbane and Newcastle will not only be good for the region from an economic point of view, but it will greatly enhance social and economic inclusion and also make the region more attractive to inward investment.”
In line with this expansion we are dedicating an aircraft as well as night stopping a number of crews in Narrabri.
“The expansion of our Narrabri network is testimony to the commitment of the Council and Aeropelican to developing air access for passenger and freight to important state and regional hubs” Binet concluded.
