Abacus International has opened the doors to its new offices in Mumbai, India.

The continued success in the India market necessitates the additional manpower and space investment in this high growth travel market, said Abacus.

“This is indicative of the fast expansion that Abacus is seeing in India and we are therefore increasing our investment to better support travel companies based there,” said Brett Henry, vice president Abacus India.

“India has always been a key market for Abacus and we are always looking for ways to improve our service to customers there.”

Following the opening of new office in Mumbai, Abacus India will also be moving their team in Bangalore into new premises on May 31st.

“With the opening of the new offices, Abacus India will be able to cater to our customers through more efficient channels, with improved resources at our fingertips to respond quickly to any issues that may arise,” added Henry.

“We now have a very structured team that services our customers in sales and service, implementation and consulting. It is our intention to grow this further as the India market continues to expand.”

Abacus’ additional investment comes as India’s growing travel demand is led by the rise of mobile technology and the Internet in India.
