60 Years Of London Reign: Royal Trip To London This Spring

As the excitement builds in London for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June – it’s 60 years since the young Princess Elizabeth took to the throne - enjoy London’s Royal hotspots for less with the London Pass. Millions of people from all over the world will join in the celebrations, and London will be bustling with food, fun, and festivities culminating in the Royal Jubilee Pageant down the River Thames on June 3.

With the London Pass, you will have free access to over 55 locations throughout the city. Skip the “queue” at the National Portrait Gallery to see “The Queen: Art and Image,” a touring exhibition of the most remarkable and resonant images of Queen Elizabeth II – or walk down the aisle at Westminster Abbey, the site of British coronations since 1066, where Elizabeth II was crowned in 1952 and the romantic backdrop for the recent 2011 Royal wedding of William and Catherine. And don’t forget to check out the Crown Jewels ‘bling’ in the Tower of London.

Fans of the Royal family can also explore the Royal Mews, one of the finest working stables in the world, to view the Glass Coach – used by many royal brides, and the magnificent Gold State Coach, used for coronations since 1821.  Other royal hotspots included in the London Pass include Hampton Court Palace, Windsor Castle and St Paul’s Cathedral.

The London Pass gives users priority access at selected locations to avoid lines, a free guidebook, and over 30 additional deals and discounts and free offers.  Users can add a Travelcard option, giving you unlimited travel on the Underground, double-decker buses, and any other public transit in the city. To celebrate 2012, each London Pass comes with a specially made 2012 commemorative badge. The London Pass is the perfect money saver and the ideal way to explore the city’s premier attractions.
