Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines Announce New Strategic Partnership
Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines have launched a strategic partnership to expand service between Doha and Manila, enabling greater connectivity for passengers from the Philippines traveling to Qatar and onwards to other regions of the world. Starting from 16 June 2025, Philippine Airlines will offer daily nonstop flights between Manila and Doha. Qatar Airways will codeshare on the seven weekly flights operated by Philippine Airlines in the first phase of this strategic cooperation.
easyJet holidays offers rebooking discount to holidaymakers impacted by Balkan Holidays closure
easyJet holidays has today announced a rebooking discount for holidaymakers who were due to travel on Balkan Holidays, whose holiday has been cancelled due to the tour operator ceasing trading. Customers who make a new booking with easyJet holidays for a seven-night break will get £50 off per person by emailing [email protected] within 24 hours of making their booking, by the Balkan Holidays confirmation email showing the names and ages of all travellers, along with the easyJet holidays booking reference number. Travel agents are able to claim on behalf of their customers, with the discount available on bookings made by 31 May 2025.
Emirates renews partnership with Olympique Lyonnais until 2030
Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has extended its partnership with Olympique Lyonnais, one of the most iconic clubs in the French league. The airline will remain the club’s shirt sponsor for another five years, until the end of the 2029-2030 season. Boutros Boutros, Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand at Emirates said: “We’re pleased to announce our extended commitment to Olympique Lyonnais – one of the most loved and respected teams in France. We began sponsoring Olympique Lyonnais in 2020 and the partnership has yielded significant brand visibility for Emirates. Balkan Holidays has ceased UK operations after nearly 60 years of trading
Thousands of British travellers have had their holidays cancelled after a major travel provider abruptly closed on Thursday. As of 24 April, operations by Balkan Holidays shut in the UK, with “all forward holiday bookings” cancelled after almost 60 years of trading.
Premier Inn and Emirates Leisure Retail support 18th Emirates Physical Fitness Championship
Team members from Premier Inn Middle East, in collaboration with Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR), participated in the 18th Emirates Physical Fitness Championship for People of Determination organised by the Emirates Autism Center.
