TAP LAUNCHES NEW ROUTE BETWEEN PORTO AND TERCEIRA
TAP Air Portugal will inaugurate a new route between Porto and Terceira on 29 March 2026, with four weekly flights. On the same date, it will also launch additional connections between Porto and Funchal, increasing from 14 to 18 flights per week. The new route between Porto and Terceira, operated with an A320neo aircraft with a capacity for 168 passengers, will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing from Porto at 15:20 and arriving in Terceira at 17:00. On the return, the flight leaves the Azorean island at 17:50 and arrives in Invicta at 21:15. (local times). Connections between Porto and Funchal will also be reinforced from 29 March, with four more flights per week between the two cities, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing from Porto at 12:10 and arriving in Funchal at 14:15. On the return journey, the flight departs from Cristiano Ronaldo Airport at 15:05 and arrives at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport at 17:05. TAP is therefore strengthening its fundamental role in mobility between Porto and the northern region and the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira, once again highlighting its contribution to national cohesion.
