A new website dedicated to inspiring people to travel through beautiful videos launches today.

Play2Travel.com is the first website to focus on bringing together videos from hundreds of stunning resorts and spectacular hotels from across the world, grouping them by destination to create a visual guide to 30 countries.

Paulo Palha dreamed up Play2Travel after becoming fed up with the time he was wasting searching for high quality videos in destinations he wanted to visit.

He says: “Video and travel fit together perfectly, so why isn’t there a website dedicated to only showing the best of both?

“Quality videos are out there, but they are spread across the web making it really hard to find them with a simple search.

“Trying to watch a sequence of videos on luxury hotels in London, for example, can be painstaking. Travellers have to sift through poorly shot films from past customers, photo galleries from sales sites and DIY travel guides that get in the way of the good quality hotel videos they started out looking for.

“Play2Travel takes a simple idea, of organizing jaw-dropping videos by destination, to give travellers a totally new way of seeing a region and searching for high quality hotels.

““We just want people to sit back in front of their screens and get inspired while enjoying some serious video traveling.”

Play2Travel is a visual website featuring giant thumbnails from a series of hotel videos. Users can start their search by clicking on an inspiring image, or by following the search link to find videos by country.

Videos are selected by the Play2Travel team based on criteria including the grade of hotel and production quality of the footage. More than 400 resorts and hotels are available on the site, with many more films to be added over the coming weeks.
