​The World Tourism Conference (WTC) 2025 is scheduled to take place from September 27 to 29, 2025, in Melaka, Malaysia. Organised collaboratively by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), and the Melaka State Government, this seventh edition of the triennial conference will convene global tourism leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss advancements in the tourism sector.

The event coincides with World Tourism Day (WTD) 2025, themed “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation,” highlighting the sector’s pivotal role in achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Melaka’s selection as the host city underscores its rich cultural heritage and status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, providing an ideal backdrop for discussions on sustainable tourism practices.
