The 9th Safety Forum is scheduled for June 30 - July 1, 2022, at EUROCONTROL headquarters in Brussels. The Forum is organised by the Flight Safety Foundation European Advisory Committee together with EUROCONTROL and the European Regions Airline Association.

The theme of the 2022 Safety Forum is “Safe Sustainability”.  As COP26, the 2021 U.N. Climate Change Conference, demonstrated, aviation will come under increasing political and commercial pressure to reduce its carbon footprint. In supporting efforts to become more sustainable, we must not lose sight of the potential for unintended consequences for safety and resilience when procedures or technology changes. We want to hear your views on which developments might present risks that would require mitigation, and on how changes could best be managed.
