She said that Meetings Africa is gaining international stature each year and that this is due to South Africa’s meeting and incentive industry that is fast maturing, offering a wide variety of products and solutions to choose from as well as its high levels of sophistication.
Meetings Africa 2010 broke its own records and delivered: 14% increase on international hosted buyers, 28% increase on overall visitors, 25% increase on exhibitors and 20% increase on media and is set to improve on these indicators in years to come.
Sandton Convention Centre once again won the bid to host Meetings Africa in 2011. The SCC has been the very happy and successful home of Meetings Africa since its inception seven years ago and the 2011 event promises to be the best one yet.
