Limerick will host the inaugural European Sport Tourism Summit on May 15th 2014. The theme of the event is Building an International Sport Tourism Portfolio for Sustained Success.

The conference will welcome speakers with direct insights of national and city strategies focusing on Sport and Tourism working together. The ESTS is the first European event to focus on the potential of sport and tourism and addresses all aspects of the sector from global sports events, professional sports teams’ impact on host cities to attracting and hosting mass participation events. Some of the leading figures from the world of sport and tourism to provide their insights into what works for sports, sports bodies, events and countries in creating a sustainable approach to the fastest growing global tourism sector.
