The Expedia group has recorded significant increases in travel demand for properties of all-star levels on the island of St. Lucia. Overall, demand increased more than 20 per cent in the first quarter of 2015 when compared to the same time last year. Saint Lucia Tourist Board sees strong start to 2015

The Saint Lucia Tourist Board has seen a strong start to 2015, with UK operators and agents reporting good bookings to the end of February. This comes against a backdrop of the highest total number of arrivals in the island’s history recorded for the month of January at 31,541, up 14 per cent on 2014. Aiming to help drive sales, an integrated campaign ran during January and February, raising awareness along five themes including Beach Lover, Nature Explorer, Active Families, Luxury Traveller and Weddings & Honeymoons.
