Winair to re-launch flights to St. Kitts & Nevis
Caribbean sub-regional airline Winair will recommence scheduled flights between St. Maarten and St. Kitts & Nevis on October 29th, 2012. That announcement was made by St. Kitts & Nevis minister of tourism & international transport, Ricky Skerritt, following a confirmation visit last Thursday of a three-man delegation from Winair.

St. Kitts first to use AV technology for TV broadcast/mobile engagement
An exciting new multi-media Campaign, incorporating advanced audio recognition technology, was launched by the St. Kitts Tourism Authority on 12 May 2012, in partnership with British Airways and the Telegraph Media Group (TMG). This joint campaign will run key activities in May, June and September incorporating broadcast, mobile, online and print.

CTO picks St Kitts’ Ricky Skerritt as new chair
The Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO), the Caribbean’s official tourism development agency, has selected the Hon. Ricky Skerritt, Minister of Tourism and International Transport, St Kitts and Nevis, for the chairmanship of the organisation for the next two years.

This will include a Mandarin Oriental and an Auberge property, as well as a championship golf course. The marina will also include forty slip for mega-yachts. The tourism authority hopes it will cement St Kitts position in the global tourism market.
