SkyTeam’s branded Lounge at Santiago International Airport is now open to Priority Pass members traveling on flights operated or marketed by SkyTeam member airlines, including codeshare services with airline partners such as LATAM, regardless of cabin class or Frequent Flyer status.

Virgin Atlantic is formally joining SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, at a signing ceremony in London yesterday.  The move means Virgin Atlantic becomes SkyTeam’s first and only UK member airline, enhancing the alliance’s transatlantic network and services to and from Heathrow and Manchester airports.

SkyTeam and Virgin Atlantic have today announced that the UK airline will join as the newest member of the alliance in early 2023. The airline will become the only UK-based member or the alliance.

The three global airline alliances are calling on G7 governments to agree on a common set of travel and health standards to enable the safe reopening of borders.

SkyTeam, oneworld and Star Alliance urged governments to implement new ICAO guidelines for passenger testing and the adoption of digital health pass technology.

This new alliance-wide pledge sees all 19 airline partners support a series of personal safety measures to help protect passengers and airline employees when they travel on or between members.
