British boy killed in Alps ski fall
A seven-year-old boy has fallen to his death during a family skiing holiday in the French Alps.

Paris takes victory Super-G in Kitzbühel
Dominik Paris took a risky line on the Streif – and was rewarded with victory. He was the fastest to master the challenging course, with a time of 1:09.99. Matthias Mayer from the Austrian province of Carinthia was pipped to the post by a whisker (+0.06) and third place was also taken by an Austrian.
Team Tirol takes Hahnenkamm title in Kitzbühel
Team Tirol was able to secure victory at the Hahnenkamm Juniors 2015 and relegate the teams from the United States and Croatia into second and third position respectively. The racers from Tirol achieved the best time as a team in the Giant Slalom and Slalom on the Ganslernhang. Both races were very challenging, due to the steep terrain and many transitions on the slope.
Kitzbühel welcomes opening of 75th Hahnenkamm Races
The 75th Hahnenkamm Races will be officially opened today in the Legendenpark, Kitzbühel, Austria. Young athletes from the 13 teams competing in the Juniors Race will be given a worthy welcome in the form of an official procession with all participating nations.

Air Canada launches flights between Toronto and Mont-Tremblant as ski season begins
Air Canada has operated its first non-stop flight between Toronto Pearson and Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. Service to Mont-Tremblant will be operated four times per week until March 30, 2015 by Air Canada Express with a 74-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft.

Here comes the snow: Monarch launches flights to Lyon for ski season
Monarch has continued its route overhaul with the launch of new services from London Gatwick Airport to Lyon as part of its winter ski programme for 2014/15. The flights, which will start on December 27th and operate until April 11th, are on sale now. Some of the best French ski resorts are located within three hours of Lyon Airport and with the flight departing Gatwick at 07:10 in the morning meaning keen skiers can be on the slopes just after lunch.
