Marriott welcomes Sheraton Annaba to Algeria
Marriott International has further expanded in Algeria with the opening of its seventh hotel in the country, Sheraton Annaba. London’s Bright Young Things were out in force last night as the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane celebrated its new look following a multi-million pound renovation. Marking the start of an exciting new chapter in its 90-year history, the Mayfair icon entertained VIPs and guests with live acts in the hotel’s renowned art deco ballroom, British-inspired cocktails and canapés in the new Smith & Whistle bar and show-cooking stations in the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Mercante.

Founded in 1933 by Aggie Grey, it has seen various reincarnations; from burger joint to serve the troops to a hostel dormitory for visiting servicemen.
