Singapore’s legendary Raffles Hotel, home to the Singapore Sling cocktail, has been put up for sale by its owner Prince Alwaleed of Saudi Arabia for a price tag of up to £300 million.The Fairmont Raffles Hotel International group, part of the Prince’s Kingdom Holding Company, is seeking buyers as it tightens its purse strings in the global downturn.
“Raffles Hotels & Resorts announced today that it will manage a new resort in Taghazout, Morocco. The resort, owned by global real estate investment firm Colony Capital, will be located along the pristine Atlantic coast north of Agadir.

Ltd., has signed an agreement with JSC Moskva Krasnye Holmy, to manage a 235 bedroom deluxe hotel under the Swiss™tel brand. The hotel will be named Swiss™tel Riverside Towers, Moscow and is scheduled to open by May 2005.
