Oakwood Asia Pacific has shared new plans for aggressive growth and strategic expansion. Estimating a projected growth of over 40 per cent in portfolio size over the next two years, Dean Schreiber, manager director of Oakwood Asia Pacific explained: “We are observing an increasingly mobile workforce and a heightened awareness of serviced apartments and its advantages over hotel rooms.”
Oakwood Asia Pacific has appointed Neil Blenkharn as general manager of the upcoming Oakwood Residence Damei Beijing. Slated to open in 2016’s fourth quarter, Oakwood Residence Damei Beijing will be the second Oakwood Residence property to operate in China’s bustling capital.

Oakwood Asia Pacific has confirmed a partnership with Plenitude Berhad to open the first Oakwood-branded property in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the second half of 2016. Signing the agreement are Elsie Chua, chairman of the board of Plenitude Berhad and Dean Schreiber, managing director of Oakwood Asia Pacific.
Oakwood Asia Pacific, which manages some of the finest serviced apartments for business and leisure travellers, has announced its expansion into Australia with a deal to manage Oakwood Apartments Brisbane, which is the first Oakwood-branded building in Australia. The company also announced Paul Wilsher’s appointment as general manager of the property.
