Marriott Hotels has welcomed The Hague Marriott Hotel to its portfolio following an extensive four-month refurbishment. Situated in the heart of the of Netherland’s diplomatic capital, the hotel now boasts an array of new facilities and design features, including 306 beautifully appointed rooms and suites inspired by the city’s coastline, Marriott’s signature Greatroom lobby, offering an open and flexible welcome for guests to relax, work or socialize.

Barceló Hotels & Resorts has opened its flagship hotel in Madrid, Barceló Emperatriz. The former 19th century Palace - which is right in the heart of city’s historical quarter – has been brilliantly transformed into a 146-room, five star hotel. The design was inspired by Eugenia de Montijo – an Empress consort of the French and one of the most powerful and avant-garde women of her time - and a panel of leading 21st Century women known as “Barceló’s Empresses”.

InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the signing of Crowne Plaza Novi Sad in Serbia’s second largest city. The newly built hotel will operate under a franchise agreement with Plaza Agns Doo Novi Sad.
