Yotel set to open at Charles de Gaulle Airport in July
Yotel has announced the Paris location for their next hotel opening. Due to open in July, it will be the first ever in-terminal hotel at Charles de Gaulle Airport. The luxury cabins will be situated in the secure transit area in Terminal 2E, home to Air France and the SkyTeam Global Alliance. Yotel’s Paris launch will form part of the opening of the brand new airport lounge area Instant Paris.

Pullman opens first UK new build hotel in Liverpool
Pullman, the upscale international hotel brand of AccorHotels, has welcomed the opening of Pullman Liverpool, the brand’s first ever UK new build. Situated at King’s Dock on Liverpool’s world-famous waterfront and adjoining ACC Liverpool, the newly-built hotel will open as one of the city’s most stylish hotels, featuring 216 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant called Dukes and a bar and lounge with views of the River Mersey.
H10 Cubik opens to Barcelona travellers
H10 Hotels has opened a new property in Barcelona: the H10 Cubik. The hotel stands in the city’s historical centre, just a stone’s throw from the cathedral, and offers 101 rooms. Located at number 69 Via Laietana, the road that joins Plaça d’Urquinaona to the seafront and marks the limit of the Gothic Quarter, the H10 Cubik is within close walking distance from the city’s main tourist attractions, including the Cathedral, Plaça de Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia and the Born neighbourhood.
Icehotel to go year round with solar powered property
Sweden’s Icehotel has revealed plans for a permanent sub-zero ice experience – including bar, art gallery and suites for overnight stays – available 365 days of the year. Like every winter for the past 26 years, construction of the forth-coming Icehotel is about to take off in Jukkasjärvi, Swedish Lapland. The ice from the Torne River is transformed to art sculptures and architecture that is set to attract thousands of visitors before it melts away in spring.
Moxy to add five European properties in 2016
Marriott International plans to open an additional five Moxy Hotels in key European cities in 2016, including Munich, Eschborn and Berlin in Germany, Oslo in Norway and Aberdeen in the UK. The five properties will strengthen Moxy Hotels’ ongoing expansion plans since its successful debut of Moxy Milan, Italy in September 2014.
