Pulitzer Amsterdam reopens following extensive renovations
The final touches of Pulitzer Amsterdam’s extensive restoration have been put into place, and the iconic 45-year old hotel celebrates its grand opening today with the completion of a quintessentially Dutch redesign across its labyrinth of 25 Golden Age canal houses. The re-opening of Pulitzer Amsterdam’s Prinsengracht canal side of the hotel sees the unveiling of areas including the main entrance and lobby, the inner gardens, a two-storey gym, as well as a further 145 guestrooms and suites.
Moxy Hotels opens Frankfurt property
Marriott has opened the second German hotel under its Moxy lifestyle brand, located in the Eschborn suburb of Frankfurt. The 176 room hotel features a bright, airy and buzzing lobby, a gym, The Living Room which also features ‘abundant power and USB outlets’ as well as and ‘furiously fast and free Wi-Fi’ for ultimate connectivity, The Moxy dining area with plentiful options for food and drink including fresh juices and a coffee bar and a meeting room.
Hilton opens Edinburgh Carlton Hotel in Scotland
Hilton Hotels & Resorts is opening the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton, marking the 16th property in the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of brands in Scotland and the eighth Hilton Hotels & Resorts hotel in the country. The hotel, which is owned and operated by Amaris Hospitality, is part of their 73-hotel portfolio across the UK and Ireland.
DoubleTree by Hilton Wroclaw opens in Poland
DoubleTree by Hilton Wroclaw, housed in the uniquely designed six-storey OVO Wroclaw complex, has opened to guests. The OVO Wroclaw is a landmark edifice spearheading a revolution in urban Polish design. The upscale hotel joins three DoubleTree by Hilton properties open in Poland and over 70 DoubleTree by Hilton properties open across Europe.
Hilton Garden Inn Brussels Louise opens in Belgium
Hilton Garden Inn Brussels Louise has opened to guests in Belgium. The 143 room property is located in the heart of the city, in the art deco quarter of Brussels close by to the European Parliament. “We are delighted to bring the Hilton Garden Inn brand to Brussels and to be able to serve the many tourists and business travellers who visit each year. “It is exciting for Hilton Garden Inn to have presence in such an important European city,” said John Greenleaf, global head, Hilton Garden Inn.
Marriott opens second hotel in Belarus
Marriott International opens its second hotel in Belarus with the addition of Minsk Marriott Hotel, the capital’s first five-star internationally rated hotel. The deluxe Minsk Marriott Hotel sits within a new compound located on the Svisloch riverside offering an exceptional range of services under one roof including a sports and entertainment complex, which comprises a state-of-the-art sports arena for 3,000 people complete with cafes and bars, a modern gym, a wellness centre with spa services, a tennis and squash academy and a cinema.
StayWell heads into Indian market with Leisure Inn Shrey, Jodhpur
