The Thailand-based international hotel company ONYX Hospitality Group announces its entry into Vietnam, with the signing of a partnership agreement with HB Group to manage OZO Hoi An, a 364-room beachfront resort in c area. The hotel is scheduled to open in late 2016.

Dusit Fudu Hotels & Resorts, the Chinese joint venture hotel management company of Bangkok-based Dusit International, has secured two new hotel projects in China’s financial capital. In agreement with Mingyuan Group, Dusit Fudu will bring a luxury Dusit Thani hotel and a serviced residence under the Dusit Princess label to the Shanghai market. Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts management company now has more than 15 projects under its belt.

Thailand-based ONYX Hospitality Group has announced a new Maldives project under its core brand, Amari. Located 400 kilometres from the capital Male in the Southern Gaafu Dhaalu atoll, guests will be able to arrive via a short 55-minute domestic flight followed by a speedboat transfer.

Hot on the heels of announcing an AUD$550m multi-use resort in Australia, leading Asian hospitality group Dusit International continues its expansion plans with the signing of the first Dusit Thani hotel to be developed in Vietnam as part of the Cam Ranh Flowers Resort. Executives from Dusit International and State Development Company were in attendance at the signing ceremony, held at the Khanh Hoa Centre of Political and Cultural Events in Nha Trang.
