Oakwood unveils expansion plans with introduction of Oakwood Studios
Oakwood Asia Pacific has shared new plans for aggressive growth and strategic expansion. Estimating a projected growth of over 40 per cent in portfolio size over the next two years, Dean Schreiber, manager director of Oakwood Asia Pacific explained: “We are observing an increasingly mobile workforce and a heightened awareness of serviced apartments and its advantages over hotel rooms.”
Blenkharn to head up Oakwood Residence Damei Beijing

Ascott takes Citadines brand into Korea with Seoul property
Ascott has opened its first Citadines-branded property in Korea’s capital, Citadines Han River Seoul. The opening of the 149-unit Citadines Han River Seoul marks Ascott’s continued expansion in South Korea, with more than 1,000 units in operation including the 410-unit Somerset Palace Seoul and 468-unit Citadines Haeundae Busan.

Sanctum Inle Resort set for October opening in Myanmar
The first upscale hotel to come on line in one of Myanmar’s most compelling tourist destinations will officially debut October 1st when 94-room Sanctum Inle Resort holds its grand opening on the shores of Inle Lake. The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts is opening The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, marking Starwood’s first-ever luxury hotel in Japan’s capital city.
