Marriott International has announced the opening of the 155-unit The OCT Harbour, Shenzhen Marriott Executive Apartments. This is Marriott International’s first extended stay property in South China, showing its continued growth and commitment to China.
Marriott International has entered into a non-binding letter of intent for the sale of three Edition hotels subject to long-term management agreements. The three hotels - located in London, Miami Beach, and Manhattan - are currently owned by Marriott and are under construction.

Stephen Garff Marriott, Executive Vice President for Culture at Marriott International, the global hotel company founded by his grandparents in 1927, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013, after a prolonged battle with a degenerative mitochondrial disease. He was 54 years old.
Marriott International has announced the 298-room Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel will join its portfolio of more than 3,800 properties worldwide on July 1st 2013 under a franchise agreement with WB AMBASSADOR.
