Hong Kong Airlines launches flights to Kuching, Malaysia
Hong Kong Airlines, an internationally-acclaimed full-service airline, will become the only carrier providing direct twice-weekly flight service between Hong Kong and Kuching, Malaysia, when services launch on May 28th. The new service will be operated by an all-economy class Airbus A320 aircraft, further strengthen the airline’s network in Asia.

Mueller steps down as chief executive of Malaysia Airlines
Malaysia Airlines Berhad has announced chief executive Christoph Mueller will leave the company in September 2016, following his request to depart before the end of his three-year contract. In ensuring continuity and an orderly succession, Mueller will serve a six-month notice period to September 2016. Following this, he has expressed his intention to the MAB board to remain with the airline as non-executive director.
Emirates and Malaysia Airlines expand codeshare deal
Emirates and Malaysia Airlines have unveil new routes and frequent flyer benefits as part of their codeshare agreement to provide customers seamless connections and world class travel experiences, across the globe. The new routes cover 15 key Malaysian cities: Langkawi, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching, Miri, Bintulu, Sibu, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Tawau, Labuan, Alor Setar, Kota Bharu, Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu.

The Business Class seat pitch, which measures at 44 inches with a width of 20 inches and length of 76 inches (fully flat), is one of the best received business class seats in the industry.

French investigators have said “with certainty” that debris found on Reunion Island is from missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. The flight went missing in March 2014 on route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, with the feared loss of all 239 people on board.
