Le Meridien hotel opens in Columbus, Ohio
Ohio’s first Le Meridien hotel has opened in Columbus. Le Meridien Columbus, The Joseph is located in the city’s Short North Arts District. The new property, managed by Wischermann Partners, has 135 guestrooms and a 140-seat restaurant.
Le Méridien continues growth in India
Starwood Hotels & Resorts has confirmed the signing of Le Méridien Ahmedabad, a 200-room new build hotel slated to open in 2018. In addition to well-appointed, oversized rooms, signature amenities and personalized services, the hotel will also offer four restaurant and bar venues, including a signature all-day dining outlet and two specialty restaurants. Recreation facilities include a swimming pool and fully equipped fitness center.
Le Meridien returns to New Orleans
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide today unveiled designs for Le Méridien New Orleans, a milestone as the French-born brand prepares to return to the Crescent City by end of year. As part of the strategic conversion plan of the former W New Orleans, the property has now transitioned to the Hotel New Orleans Downtown for the remainder of its $29 million renovation.
Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi Resort set for September debut
Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa is set to make its debut in September 2014. Owned by Summit Windmill Corporation, the resort will be the first Le Méridien golf resort in Asia Pacific, with a professional course designed by golfing legend Nick Faldo.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has announced that its Le Méridien brand will soon add Indianapolis to its rapidly growing North American portfolio. Le Méridien Indianapolis will debut in November 2014 following a $9.5 million renovation of the historic Canterbury Hotel, a landmark property in the heart of downtown.
