Etihad Airways and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have entered the second phase of their strategic partnership following the launch of the Abu Dhabi-based carrier’s flights to Amsterdam. The daily service, operated by a two cabin Airbus A330-200 and configured to carry 262 passengers with 22 in Pearl Business Class and 240 in Coral Economy Class, was launched earlier and carries KLM’s KL code.
Last week KLM Royal Dutch Airlines launched flights to three new destinations from its hub at Amsterdam Schiphol, offering passengers further convenient and great value travel options.
Special guests and passengers are today celebrating the launch of KLM’s latest regional route – from Manston Airport in Kent to Amsterdam Schiphol, the fourth largest air hub in the world. The new service, the only scheduled passenger flight from the Kent airport, will allow local travellers access to over 190 destinations worldwide via Schiphol with KLM.

KLM is increasing the frequency of its flights at Budapest Airport up to 27 flights weekly. From April 28th 2013, the Dutch carrier will operate between Budapest and Amsterdam four times daily (up from three times daily) Sunday to Friday and three times daily on Saturdays.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has further strengthened its regional presence in the UK with the start of scheduled flights out of Manston Airport in Kent. Commencing on April 2nd 2013, the twice-daily flights will connect Manston to KLM’s award-winning hub Schiphol, Amsterdam.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines customers can now book Economy Comfort on flights within Europe. From December 1st onwards, Economy Comfort will be available on flights operated by Boeing 737 aircraft, which includes seven UK departure points serving Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has confirmed it will start scheduled services to Fukuoka, Japan on April 3rd 2013. KLM is the first airline to offer direct flights between Fukuoka and Europe.
