KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has reduced fares to European destinations from Ireland by as much as 34%.
KLM is increasing the frequency of its flights at Budapest Airport up to 27 flights weekly. From April 28th 2013, the Dutch carrier will operate between Budapest and Amsterdam four times daily (up from three times daily) Sunday to Friday and three times daily on Saturdays.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has further strengthened its regional presence in the UK with the start of scheduled flights out of Manston Airport in Kent. Commencing on April 2nd 2013, the twice-daily flights will connect Manston to KLM’s award-winning hub Schiphol, Amsterdam.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines customers can now book Economy Comfort on flights within Europe. From December 1st onwards, Economy Comfort will be available on flights operated by Boeing 737 aircraft, which includes seven UK departure points serving Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has confirmed it will start scheduled services to Fukuoka, Japan on April 3rd 2013. KLM is the first airline to offer direct flights between Fukuoka and Europe.
KLM and Flybe have launched a codeshare agreement on two routes, between Amsterdam and Southampton and between Amsterdam and Inverness. Through this new partnership, KLM will be offering its customers three daily flights on the Southampton-Amsterdam route and one daily flight on the Inverness-Amsterdam route.
Travelport has announced the first live booking of a KLM Economy Comfort seat using the new industry standard electronic miscellaneous document (EMD). The booking was fulfilled via a travel agent in the Netherlands for a customer travelling from Amsterdam to Beijing. Currently in Alpha testing, this new functionality will be made available to Travelport-connected travel agents throughout the world in a phased roll-out which begins next month.
Amadeus has announced flagship carrier KLM has implemented Amadeus Ancillary Services in the Netherlands. Through AAS, KLM is now able to offer travel agencies the option to book Economy Comfort seats, expanding the access to its content of ancillary products and services.
Year-round access to Aruba is becoming easier for UK visitors as of this month, with the introduction of new KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ flights on 30 October 2011. The news comes at a time when other carriers have been cutting services to the Caribbean due to APD concerns.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and WestJet have operated their first code share flights in a code share agreement between the two airlines which will allow KLM to market and distribute WestJet operated flights under KLM flight numbers. This will enhance the travel possibilities for our customers, giving them access to 30 domestic Canadian routes.
