The 600 plus exhibitors this year come from a record number of 56 countries and regions, up almost 20%, from Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, the Pacific and Indian oceans, and the Middle East! Some 80% of the exhibitors are from outside Hong Kong and around half of the exhibiting countries from outside Asia.

Novosibirsk hosts 21 countries at this year’s 20th anniversary TourSib exhibition
TourSib, Siberia’s leading exhibition for the travel and tourism exhibition, took place on 15-17 April 2010 at the ITE Siberian Fair exhibition centre in Novosibirsk, Russia. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the event, which plays an important role in promoting the development of the tourism industry in Siberia.
More Wellness Products in ITE & MICE Travel Expo
For enhancing communication with Thailand’s travel industry, the Tourism Authority Thailand, TAT, and TKS, organizer of ITE & MICE, worked together holding a presentation on December 21 in Bangkok, which was well attended by around 60 delegates from trade association, hotel, resort, travel agent, attraction, convention center and hospital.
Hong Kong public to continue travel spending in near future
The two public days of ITE&ITE MICE this year, despite the financial crisis and swine flu, drew over 60,000 visitors, up 12 percent. In addition, leading outbound travel agents present at the expo reported good businesses. An onsite survey found around 90 percent of the respondents will increase or maintain their travel spending and frequency in the coming twelve months. These encouraging signs confirm that travel is very much a part of Hong Kong residents’ life style.
