Hongkong & Shanghai Hotels has celebrated the ground-breaking ceremony for The Peninsula London in Belgravia, London. The duke of Westminster attended as guest of honour at the ceremony which was hosted by HSH chairman, Michael Kadoorie.
General Managers appointments at Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels
The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited (HSH), a Hong Kong-listed company and owner and operator of the Peninsula Hotels, announced the transfer of Mr. Nicolas Beliard to be General Manager of The Peninsula Paris (effective 1 January 2013) and the promotion of Ms. Katja Henke to be General Manager of The Peninsula Bangkok (effective 27 December 2012).
New GM named for The Peninsula Beijing
The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited, owner and operator of the Peninsula Hotels, announced the retirement of Mr. Donald J. Harrington, General Manager of The Peninsula Beijing, who will be replaced by Mr. Joseph Sampermans, currently Hotel Manager of The Peninsula Hong Kong. Mr. Sampermans will assume his new role on 15 October 2012.
