United Kingdom-based specialty travel company Holidays By Rail has rung in the New Year with the addition of more than 40 new rail holidays to its robust product line. New holidays range from short city stays in the most popular European cities to extended getaways to destinations from as near as the Scottish Highlands to as far-flung as America’s National Parks, the Canadian Rockies and New Zealand.

Norwich-based specialty travel company Holidays by Rail has confirmed it will offer 30 rail-cruise holidays for the 2011/12 travel season. Travellers may select from a variety of destinations ranging from river cruises along the French and Dutch waterways to larger ship voyages to the sun-drenched Mediterranean islands and Alaska’s Inside Passage.
