Gulf Air to return to United Arab Emirates next week
Gulf Air will resume its direct Abu Dhabi and Dubai flights, with scheduled operations starting from July 5th. The national carrier of the kingdom of Bahrain has been operating direct flights between the country and the United Arab Emirates since 1954.
Gulf Air returns to Erbil, Iraq
Gulf Air has welcomed the resumption of services to Erbil in Iraq as flight GF233 lands in Erbil International Airport. Various dignitaries, a number of local media, travel industry representatives and airport officials were also on hand for the arrival.
Gulf Air expands Turkish Airlines codeshare deal
Gulf Air and Turkish Airlines have signed a codeshare expansion. The agreement will see Turkish Airlines place its ‘TK’ code on Gulf Air’s flights from Bahrain to Dubai, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot and Manila.

Gulf Air and SpiceJet have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore greater cooperation between the two airlines. The deal will include an interline and codeshare agreement, as well as coordination of cargo services, engineering and pilot training.

Gulf Air has celebrated its inaugural service to the Maldives, with its flight GF144 touching down at Velana International Airport earlier. The aircraft was welcomed with a water cannon salute and, upon arrival, a celebratory event was held.
