Following the acquisition by Queensgate Investments, Alastair Thomann, chief executive of Generator, has transformed the company from a provider of cheap hostels into a pioneer of multi-segment accommodation. As the latest phase of expansion begins, he here tells Breaking Travel News editor Chris O’Toole about his ambitions for the brand
Generator has appointed London-based travel representation and PR consultancy Hills Balfour to manage its European PR strategy. Hills Balfour’s pan-European remit includes maintaining strong media relations, operating a robust press office and developing several creative concepts.
