Fred Olsen cruises outlines fuel surcharged pledge
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has announced a No Fuel Surcharge Guarantee on all bookings made up to, and including, August 31st 2011. Any fuel cost supplement already applied to 2012 bookings – currently levied at 5.5 per cent of the cruise fare paid after any relevant discounts have been deducted – will remain on the booking.

A viral infection which causes vomiting has broken out on a Fred Olsen Cruise ship that is travelling around the British Isles. 72 passengers on board ‘Balmoral’ have been infected with the virus, thought to have been introduced by a passenger who proved to be unwell shortly after departing from Dover.
