Finland launches Nature Days 2017 campaign
The Nature Days 2017 campaign - one of the most extensive Suomi Finland100 celebrations - has launched in Finland. The campaign encourages people to explore the great outdoors on four designated days throughout the year – February 4th, May 20th, June 17th and August 26th.

Moominvalley Museum to debut in Tampere, Finland
From June 2017, Moomins, the beloved Finnish icons created by Tove Jansson, will be on display at a dedicated museum in Tampere Hall. The only museum of its kind, Moominvalley Museum, will present the world of the Moomin books in a completely new way.

Visit Finland inks deal with Travelport
Travelport has signed a new marketing partnership with VisitFinland to promote its stopover programme targeting Asian travellers visiting Europe. Under the first stage of the agreement, VisitFinland will leverage Travelport’s digital media solutions to promote Finland a key stopover destination through an integrated digital media campaign.

Qatar Airways launches new services to Helsinki, Finland
The Finnish capital of Helsinki welcomed the first Qatar Airways flight from Doha, inaugurating the new daily service that will connect Helsinki to more than 150 destinations worldwide. Qatar Airways’ Airbus A320, which will operate the route, has a two-class configuration with 12 seats in Business Class and 120 seats in Economy Class.

Visit Finland launches online marketing drive
Navigate Media Group has kicked off its newest campaign for Visit Finland. The campaign, called ‘Finland Blogsposure’, will run in February and showcase Finland as a winter destination by emphasising the breadth of options available for visitors at that time of year.
