FCm Travel Solutions has been awarded a three year contract to provide full travel management services in the UK, Norway and Germany to KCA Deutag, one of the world’s leading drilling and engineering companies. KCA Deutag’s headquarters are in Aberdeen, where travel will be managed by FCm’s local dedicated marine and offshore team.

Flight Centre Travel Group has launched an innovative new global added-value hotel programme exclusively for clients of its business travel divisions FCm Travel Solutions and Corporate Traveller. Called SmartSTAY, the programme offers access to generous year-round free extras such as room upgrades, wi-fi, late check-out or early check-in, breakfast, car parking, use of hotel meeting spaces, laundry services and local restaurant discounts.

FCm Travel Solutions has promoted James Runnicles to the position of UK Head of Sales. Runnicles assumes the UK head of sales role from Alex Armstrong, who continued to lead FCm’s UK sales operation as part of his promotion to global sales director in February 2012.

FCm Travel Solutions has announced a new partner agreement with XL Travel in Algeria meaning the travel management company’s footprint across Middle East and Africa has almost doubled in the past 18 months. FCm’s focus on strategic growth in the Middle East and Africa during the past two years has seen a further seven countries added to the TMC’s regional network, taking the company’s global presence to 84 countries.

FCm has introduced Travel City in Oman to its rapidly expanding global network. The new agreement takes the number of countries the global travel management company has a presence in to 83.

FCm Travel Solutions New Zealand has won the global travel management contract for the world’s largest dairy exporter, Fonterra. The comprehensive tender process was competitively bid for by all major players in the travel management market, covering travel management services, online booking tools, travel management policies and reporting.
