Carlson Wagonlit B.V., a Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) group company, has been informed that Carlson, a global hospitality and travel company and owner of a 55 percent equity interest in CWT, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire from JPMorgan Chase & Co., the 45 percent equity interest it holds in CWT.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel is celebrating the first anniversary of its award winning app CWT To Go on the WorldMate platform by announcing it is now available on three new devices; Windows, Android smartphones and tablets and Kindle Fire from Amazon as well as iPhone, iPad and BlackBerry smartphones. Since its migration to WorldMate in May 2013, 2.5 million trips have been synced to CWT To Go.

AC Events, based in Dublin, Ireland, has provided meetings and events management services to corporations since 2005 and has been working in association with CWT since 2008.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) revealed its global sales volume for the first half of 2012 was US$15 billion, representing a 1 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2011. Transactions also rose 1 per cent to 32.2 million 2 in the first six months of 2012.
