Canyon Ranch to cease management of Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach
In December 2014, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York approved Lehman Brother’s sale of its condominium hotel property in Miami Beach to Z Capital Partners. Canyon Ranch managed the hotel up until the closing of the sale under a management contract with Lehman Brothers.

Christie Hefner Appointed Executive Chairman of New Canyon Ranch Business
Canyon Ranch has appointed Christie Hefner Executive Chairman of Canyon Ranch Enterprises, a new division of the renowned wellness lifestyle company. The announcement was made jointly today by Canyon Ranch Founder Mel Zuckerman, Vice Chairman and CEO Jerry Cohen and Vice Chairman Dr. Richard Carmona.
Oceania and Canyon Ranch form spa-cruise partnership
Canyon Ranch Club has signed a deal to operate its spa, fitness and wellness facilities onboard all vessels operated by Oceania Cruises, including a ship schedule for launch in 2010. The spa onboard the new Marina will feature a state-of-the-art spa, wellness and fitness facility, plus a luxurious full-service beauty salon. There will be 16 massage, body and skin-care treatment rooms, a gym and weight room with more than 50 pieces of cardio and weight training equipment, a juice bar, thalassotherapy pool, two whirlpools and Thermal Suite.
