Boeing and Azerbaijan Airlines have announced an order for five more 787-8 Dreamliners and a commitment to purchase two large freighters. The agreement, announced at the 2017 Dubai Air Show, is valued at about $1.9 billion at current list prices.

Boeing and Singapore Airlines have formally announced a deal for 20 777-9s and 19 787-10s, during a ceremony at the White House. The order, previously attributed to an unidentified customer, is worth $13.8 billion at current list prices.

Boeing has rolled out the first 787-10 Dreamliner built for Singapore Airlines at its final assembly facility in North Charleston, South Carolina. The airplane will now undergo the painting of the airline’s livery and begin its system checks, fuelling, and engine runs.

Japan Airlines has announced an order today for four 787-8 Dreamliners from Boeing. The order is valued at more than $900 million at current list prices and will expand JAL’s Dreamliner fleet to 49 airplanes.

Boeing, EL AL Israel Airlines and Air Lease Corporation have welcomed the delivery of the carrier’s first 787 Dreamliner. EL AL has secured the airplane through an agreement with Air Lease.

Etihad Airways today introduced the Boeing 787-9 on its scheduled daily service from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, to Beirut, Lebanon. The new 787 Dreamliner service replaces the Airbus A321 aircraft previously operating the airline’s EY535/EY538 flights to and from the Lebanese capital.
